Welcome to Term 4.
What a lovely term this is with Spring in the air and lots of great things to do in the lead up to Easter.
Our main topic this term is Mighty Miners - What's Under My Feet which is a local area study which delves into how Radstock has changed from a mining community to the place it is today. We will also look closely at how life has changed for children in this time. Usually as an exciting addition to this topic, we set up a Victorian classroom, we inspect finger nails to ensure they are clean, we sit in rows - in silence - and just practise handwriting and chanting the 2x tables. Some children often say they want school to be like that everyday!
We think the novelty would wear off very soon!
We also have our visit to Radstock Museum to look forward to very soon...
