Our Visit to London

Owl Class' recent trip to London included a fantastic tour of the Houses of Parliament, where the students had the chance to explore this historic building. They got to see how our democracy really works and learned about the important roles of Members of Parliament. It was the perfect way to build on our Term 1 discussions about the Ancient Greeks, who first came up with the idea of democracy!

After the Parliament visit, the fun continued with a walking tour of London. We wandered through the lively streets, taking in famous sights like Big Ben, the London Eye, and Westminster Abbey. Each stop helped the pupils connect with the rich history and culture of our capital city, all while seeing British values in action. It was an unforgettable day that truly highlighted the importance of being active citizens in the UK!
