Bombers and Blackouts

 In Term 4 the children will learn about World War II. On the 5th March, the children will step back in time to the 1940's and experience what it was like to be an evacuee at Bristol M.Shed. 

The children in literacy will learn to create their own WW2 newspaper reports and adventure stories.

 Read for 20 minutes per day with an adult

Other ideas

History

Create a historical timeline including at least 10 events from the past. Remember these must be in chronological order. Give your timeline a theme e.g. Powerful women, technology, invaders etc. Make your timelines creative as we will display them in school.

PE

Record your steps! Can you complete 10,000 steps a day? How many flights of stairs can you climb a day? Can you record this information on a bar chart.

Art

Create a piece of art in the style of Picasso or Matisse
