The theme of the Anglo-Saxons will continue through Literacy, where we will look at writing formal, informal and persuasive letters.
In Maths, we will start the term by covering statistics, followed by money.
In Design and Technology, we will be looking at healthy eating. Alongside our Anglo-Saxon meal, we will also be looking to create our own healthy spaghetti bolognese. We can't wait!
Our topic for Science this term is ‘We are Scientists!’. We will be looking at what it means to have a fair test by completing lots of fun and exciting experiments.
In R.E. we will be looking at Salvation, asking the question 'What is Salvation and why is it important to Christians?’.
Useful information:
P.E. this term will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Please ensure children come into school wearing P.E. kit on these days. These sessions may take place outside so please ensure that children have something warm to wear.
A termly overview of the homework they children are required to complete has been posted on Class Dojo. Please ensure they learn the correct spellings for the week and complete at least one homework task from the termly overview. Homework will continue to be collected in on a Friday.
Please ensure that children are bringing their reading record in with them every day and that they are reading five times a week. These are checked weekly.
